i like to read and paint, so i'll admit i spend more time by myself than a lot of people but i'm ok with that. when i do go out or have a party i think i let loose more than most of the people around me so i guess it evens out. if you think louis wain is awesome, we should meet.

Four things I've noticed latley:

1. I say the word "badass" a lot. I can deal.

2. I am ridiculously lucky (case in point: just managed free starbucks and a size upgrade the other day...badass).

3. Nature Valley Granola Bars are amazing. I really hadn't given them enough of a chance before.

4. Someone called me "mellow" today. I like that. Mellow. Kind've sits in your mouth like a lemon drop.

5. Okay, so I lied about there only being four things. Everybody lies, it's hip. Anyway, an old lady in Panera said I was handsome today, and oddly enough, I feel like her saying that to me means more to me than any girl I've ever dated who has called me "cute." I'm unsure as to whether I just like the sound of "handsome" more, and find "cute" repugnant, or if I just think the old lady is smarter than anyone I've dated. Either way, I come off sounding like a prick. Cool, huh?

Just thought I'd make you aware. Oh wait...I was supposed to be listing likes, dislikes and such? Well...I snowboard. A lot. And I read good books...and bad books. And I write. There ya go. Try not to take life too seriously. It ends. And really, that's neither a bad thing nor a good thing. Just happens, you know?

I am looking for a solid relationship no games. If I like you, and I want to be with you then why create drama? I recently was told romance is dead, I thought about it, and I tend to agree. Thus, I realized all the things I can do, and did before, to make a relationship special. Now I am looking for a girl who appreciates those same things. Me, I am a nerd, I took a test about it and its official, but thats totally OK with me. I love a good adventure. I am a very curious person. I enjoy doing and learning new things. I'm one of those damned intellectuals who think they can change the world with their "logic" and "compassion". I have an extreme distaste toward any form of extremism and enjoy pointing out hypocrisy. That said, I tend to approach most of these situations with humor and a smile. I am a fairly laid-back guy and I am happy to talk about everything: from the important, to the philosophical, from the mundane to the absolute silliest.

I'm a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and I despise boredom. I love meeting new people and making friends..I love the fact that I now go to a huge school and live with thousands of people my age, and am able to make friends based on similarities and interests rather than proximity..I love those days when you're feelin' george clooney good. That's the best. I love to get out and party, but not just to get trashed. It's the social aspects that make a party. I'm going to school in the spring to become a pharmacist, the next 7 years of my life are going to be hectic as all hell. Could always use some friends! Hey everyone, I joined this site to meet some new people. I'm usually open to trying new things. I tend to be on the shy side but can be talkative also. I am also reserved but sometimes crazy.

Iâ??m an artist and a bit of a dreamer. I love to laugh and enjoy the best things life has to offer. I love living in Milwaukee, itâ??s not too big or too small, fits me just right. I enjoy being active and lazy at the same time.

All in all I'm looking for a great guy to spend and share my life with, like all of us. There isn't any way really for me to discribe exactly what I'm looking for. It just has to be somethng about someone that clicks. I could sit here and describe the kind of guy I'm attracted to but would definately limit myself to just looks, and what if they're lacking personality and there's another guy that I totally passed by just because he wasn't physically what I want! So having that said, traits of a person that I find attactive are: kindness, considerate, quirky senses of humor, confidence, someone who can make me laugh and not worried about what others may think, someone spontaneous, adventurous, assertive, genuine... I think you got the picture. I do have a quirky sense of humor and sometimes catch myself laughing at the silliest crap. I believe that if it's the right person, you can meet them anywhere from being in a bar or church, so I never exclude the possiblity just because of where I am. Having that said, you can meet someone in a bar when out with friends. If it's meant for you to meet, it can happen anywhere. I guess in a way it kind of goes by the saying, "when u least expect it."
I have so many different mixes about myself that its difficult to really pigeonhole my personality. So I'll a "short" list of things I like. :

I'm going on my 6th year as a Milwaukee resident, and am originally from Green Bay. I make a lot of to-do lists. I like to get really fired up about causes, but rarely make it to the 'take action' phase. I am in a constant, losing battle with my neighborhood parking checker.

I watch a lot of tv/movies, go out with my friends (to bars or shows), play bar trivia, and work out (pretty much daily). Brewers/Packers/Bucks games are fun, as is watching college basketball, but I don't follow anything seriously. I go on a couple trips a year, but would love to travel off the beaten path (like Siberia, Mongolia, or to the Chernobyl site, seriously).

Let's see...I live with in the upper flat of a cool little house in River West. My landlords below have a dog named Holly and a couple kids to wake me up every morning (neither of which is mine). I am in my second year of grad school for architecture and should graduate in Spring of 2010.

I just got back from New Orleans and am studying the Ninth Ward for Studio. It's really interesting stuff and will probably morph into part of my thesis which involves affordable housing for the poor. I've got another 4 months of grad school, and although it keeps me pretty busy I sometimes get bored on the weekend.

I like watching football, road trips, going for runs, tennis, basketball, soccer, design, lakes, radio, hat collecting, walking around outside, oh and traveling all over.

(Before starting anything, it should be known nothing in here is absolutely concrete, and my opinions about things are pretty fluid if you have a good enough argument. Iâ??m a sophomore at a rigidly conservative engineering school in downtown Milwaukee studying Management Information Systems, which is essentially a business degree with a background in computer engineering, and minoring in psychology. I currently work at the school I attend, and live in an apartment by myself off campus a stoneâ??s throw from one of the best Greek restaurants Iâ??ve eaten at.

How about my social life?

Iâ??m not a heavily social person. I prefer to have my close group of friends without a bunch of strangers mucking around. I'm not a heavy drinker, but I will do it once in a while though I really don't see the allure in it, and generally just donâ??t like it. While I think cigarettes are pretty repulsive, I smoke MJ pretty much on a regular basis. It helps with my ADD and anxiety. I am a drug user, but not an abuser. I never look to get "fucked up." I use substances to expand my mind, thinking processes, and understanding of life. Yes, I really am a Technoshaman. (If you don't know, just ask. I'd be more than happy to talk about it =D ) I play computer games casually, when I have the time. I play WoW with my brother every so often and itâ??s one of my hobbies.

What do I believe in?

I consider myself a deist at the core, I think this defines a lot in my life. I borrow a lot of ideals from many religions and donâ??t really let any one religion system confine me. I believe in gay and lesbian rights, and honestly donâ??t see why itâ??s such a big issue to let them marry. I believe in medical marijuana and no gun control. I donâ??t like where our government is going, and could probably write an essay about it. If you ever wanted to talk politics I could get into that. Iâ??m a firm believer in evolution and natural selection. I am a Cancer and a Gemini, and I think this hits me pretty well. I don't base life decisions off of it, and I don't ask everyone I meet about it, but I think it was surprisingly accurate in its description about me.

What am I looking for?

I should also note that I'm looking to find more friends than girlfriends here. I don't like rushing into relationships and I think it would be good to establish friendship before relationship. If something happens between us, it will come after we've gotten to know eachother anyway, so why rush? In short, just relax, chill, and enjoy your time.

I am not dying to be in a relationship, but I am open to getting to know someone that fits into my life as well as I fit theirs. I am Genuine, loyal, and not entirely sure that this is a good idea. I am an optimist, and a realist. I'm creative although writing has become my only outlet lately. I have a beautiful acoustic guitar that I hope to learn to play some day. I really enjoy being in school, and have become infatuated with psychology. I'm a super outgoing person trapped in the shell of a shy person. I hate this trying to sell yourself part because I just am who I am. I have hang-ups like every other chick in the world, but I like to think that I'm not typical.

Self summary? Thatâ??s kind of tough. I do remember one occasion when a self summary would have been easy... I was playing paint-ball with some friends and an opponentâ??s paint-ball, traveling at high speed, snuck under my face-mask and hit me hard in the throat. I canâ??t begin to describe what an alarming sensation that is. During the 10 seconds right after I was hit, my entire self summary was â??Iâ??ve just been shot in the throat.â?? Period. Everything else in the universe was temporarily gone. The other fields here would be easy too. What am I doing with my life? Trying to breathe again. Whatâ??s the first thing people usually notice about me? Probably that Iâ??m rolling around on the ground. I spend a lot of time thinking about? Mostly the blinding pain in my throat.

Well, for better or worse, no oneâ??s self summary is really as simple as that, but Iâ??ll try to boil it down to the basics: Iâ??m a nice guy looking for a nice woman. Iâ??m hoping to form a friendship that has the potential to become a real companionship. I think a good companionship involves two people who are caring, considerate and supportive towards each other, who listen to each other and take an interest in each otherâ??s lives, and who appreciate each other for who they are. Iâ??m the kind of guy who can hold up my end of that kind of relationship, with someone who will hold up their end as well. It takes me a while to feel comfortable with new people, but over time I can form a connection that continues to grow stronger and closer, little by little.

Well lets see, honestly these summaries remind me of applying to college and being asked, "what makes you special to go here?" I had difficulty with those questions as I am having difficulty here. So here goes...I am a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Room and also a massage therapist. I am recently divorced (thank goodness). I keep myself busy with work, walks, going out with friends and family, however, some days I love to just relax, journal, read in front of the fire place with hot chocolate in hand (not a tea or coffee drinker, unless the coffee is filled with all kinds of sugary things and it doesn't taste like coffee, I know, I know, I am that starbucks cliche), and catch up on shows.
