I am looking for a solid relationship no games. If I like you, and I want to be with you then why create drama? I recently was told romance is dead, I thought about it, and I tend to agree. Thus, I realized all the things I can do, and did before, to make a relationship special. Now I am looking for a girl who appreciates those same things. Four things I've noticed latley:

1. I say the word "badass" a lot. I can deal.

2. I am ridiculously lucky (case in point: just managed free starbucks and a size upgrade the other day...badass).

3. Nature Valley Granola Bars are amazing. I really hadn't given them enough of a chance before.

4. Someone called me "mellow" today. I like that. Mellow. Kind've sits in your mouth like a lemon drop.

5. Okay, so I lied about there only being four things. Everybody lies, it's hip. Anyway, an old lady in Panera said I was handsome today, and oddly enough, I feel like her saying that to me means more to me than any girl I've ever dated who has called me "cute." I'm unsure as to whether I just like the sound of "handsome" more, and find "cute" repugnant, or if I just think the old lady is smarter than anyone I've dated. Either way, I come off sounding like a prick. Cool, huh?

Just thought I'd make you aware. Oh wait...I was supposed to be listing likes, dislikes and such? Well...I snowboard. A lot. And I read good books...and bad books. And I write. There ya go. I love a good adventure. I am a very curious person. I enjoy doing and learning new things. I am a knowledge whore if I could get paid to go to school forever I would (I could do with out the homework though). I am pretty easy going. I have a good heart. I am very liberal. I love to dance, take pictures and do ceramics although I don't have accesss to a pottery wheel or kiln at the moment so sadly that is on hold. I strive to eat well and live well. I love animals especially cats, I have one and she is my furry baby.

I'm a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and I despise boredom. When it comes to music If I like it I'll listen to it. Sometimes I'll even just tolerate it. Music is my love my life and I devote time to it daily. I enjoy a lot of music. Especially local bands from around the globe.I really love rock music. acoustic,death,metal,heavy metal,gloom,alternative,grunge,punk. You get the idea. I enjoy blues, symphony, golden oldies. Personalities from the golden oldies..like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Fats Domino, Roy Orbison,Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis. Some of the bands I enjoy over all other bands to get an idea of my diverse taste in music. Metallca,Godsmack,Chimaira,My Dying Bride, Years of fire. Though there's a lot of heavy songs by these bands. There's also a lot of melodies and heartfelt songs. There's meaningful lyrics and beautiful playing. Metallica,Godsmack,My Dying bride has a lot of resemblance to other forms of music I enjoy with melodies. But thats why this list is diverse. It's not all shredding guitars. You just need the right cd/tape/record to find the acoustics and melodies. My fav songs here is where you can also get a glimpse of my diverse taste. Metallica-one, Godsmack-Keep away, Papa Roach-Between angels and insects, Dope-Sing 12 Stones-world so cold...I could be missing something.

Books also play a major role in my life. I enjoy reading daily. I like books that teach as well as books filled with stories of non-fiction or fiction. I enjoy learning about the real natives of this supposed place we call America. Books on science. Books explaining creation myths and fantasy. Again as with music. If I like it I'll read it.

I've recently gone back to school after a long lapse, working on a bachelor's degree in journalism. I've spent a lot of time playing in punk rock bands, but I don't have a lot of time to play guitar very much these days. I love the Milwaukee Brewers and the Minnesota Twins, and also the Minnesota Vikings with the exception of #4.

I jump into things head first quite often. I've had a lot of fun because of this, but have also gotten myself into a fair amount of trouble. I will always be a Little Weird Girl, and I am perfectly satisfied by that realization.

I toy around with a lot of different ideas, and my biggest motivator is a combination of curiosity and the desire to be entertained. For awhile I (half)joked that I wanted to be a Betty Page-style 1950s housewife by day, a scene queen by.. evening? And a sex goddess at night. I am equally ok with becoming a legitimate hobo and living out of a backpack. And getting a degree in biophysics and going into research. And being somebody's housecat.

I'd say that I'm like any other 20-year-old guy living in Milwaukee, but considering how constantly baffled I am by other people my age, I'm not sure that's the case!

My interests range from punk rock to politics, Sonic the Hedgehog to sports cars, traveling to...aw, hell, what else starts with a 'T'? Well, you get the idea. I'd like to think I'm very open-minded, and fancy myself an intellectual of sorts, but really that's your call to make.

Life is good. Although there are always ups and downs, each day brings something new to appreciate! I love to travel, explore, teach, sing, move, eat, love, laugh and find joy in all aspects of life. I work hard to stay healthy and fit and appreciate this in a partner, too. I am easily able to laugh at myself and LOVE to laugh so hard that I cry (although I prefer that this be due to something other than my own stupid mistake!). I have yet to see Australia and Antarctica, but have traveled on all other continents of the world.
